General info:

Burke Mountain is located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, seven miles off exit 23 on Interstate 91. The private://old schoolprivate:// wooded trails have their own rare charm and beauty, unique from the corporate resort mold. Their rural location shelters it from being overrun by city traffic. Unlike other overcrowded Vermont ski and snowboard mountains, Burke rarely has lift lines, so skiers and riders always can experience fresh conditions and go up and down the trails all day long. The high-speed Sherburne Express quad accesses a variety of beginner and intermediate trails, while the Mid-Burke Express can carry you to some of Vermont's most challenging skiing and riding. Burke Mountain serves as the training grounds for Burke Mountain Academy, a boarding school for Alpine and Nordic skiers in grades 8-12. BMA has placed 42 skiers in the Olympics over the past 33 years.
