Bretton Woods fields a 1,500 foot vertical drop and 434 acres of terrain with nine lifts serving 101 trails and glades. This is a family favorite, very modern in style, and is famous for hosting the International Monetary Conference of yore in the Mount Washington Hotel. The resort has invested in snowmaking pumps and guns, and a new groomer this season. Nearby, is The Mount Washington Cog Railway Ski Trains. The 135-year old steam engines take skiers and riders part way up Mount Washington to groomed trails running parallel to the train trestle.
