Boreal, conveniently located on Interstate 80 in Northern California’s Lake Tahoe Region, is a mountain that has a strong following of jibbers and freestyle skiers and riders alike. Boreal is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., and is usually one of the first Northern California ski resorts to open for the skiing and riding season. Boreal is home to 4 terrain parks each offering a variety of jumps, rails, jibs and other features to satisfy park skiers and riders, and the new Woodward at Tahoe facility is perfect for progressing freestyle skills. Boreal also features a variety of lesson and rental options to choose from.
