The ski resort Tanvaldský Špičák is the largest ski center of Jizerské Mountains. The resort has a powerful snowmaking system.
Stoneham could be considered a city ski resort. It's located less than 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City, but has some ski vacation appeal as well, with impressive vertical and plenty of variety. Stoneham is 2.5 hours from Montreal.
Stratton Mountain Resort, owned and operated by Intrawest, is located in Southern Vermont and offers 90 different trails on a single summit that is stretched out over a 500-acre area.
