The ski area Ankogel lies in the heart of the Hohe Tauern national park on the border of Kärnten to Salzburg. The Ankogel is the second highest elevation in the Ankogel group with 3252 m and the part of the Hohe Tauern farthest in the East. The ski area is perfect for people who would like to explore the highest ski area in Kärnten during their winter vacation. The top station on 2636 m can be reached through the Ankogelbahn or the Ankogellifte. The slopes are mostly suitable for intermediate skiers but the ski area can offer slopes for all difficulties. The Köfele Lifte, right at the base station, are ideal for beginners and children.

Zar mountain has ski trail with length of 1600m is one of the longest ski slopes in the Beskid Mountains. Ski resort has artificial snow system, slopes are prepared every day. Lighting and sound system allows to ski to the late hours.
