General info:

Alta Ski Area, located in the Little Cottonwood Canyon region of Utah, is a must visit for anyone that calls themselves a true skier. Alta strives to preserve and protect their skiing tradition, and for that reason they do not allow snowboarders on the mountain. Although home to some of North America’s most challenging terrain, Alta also has trails that are suited for beginner and intermediate skiers. In addition, Alta also provides lodging, dining, church services and helicopter and backcountry tours for their guests. With 560 inches of annual snowfall, more than 116 trails and 2,200 acres of skiable terrain, Alta is a world class ski resort.
