Alpine Valley in Chesterfield probably gets more natural snowfall than any other ski area in Ohio and is the only one with wooded trails. It is conveniently located just 35 miles from downtown Cleveland, making it a short distance from most northeastern Ohio suburbs and towns.

The ski area Nebelhorn is more diverse than any other ski area in the Allgäu. It is usually blessed with lots of natural snow but in case it is not modern snow making equipment is available.

Obertauern

Obertauern is one of the Alps’ most snow reliable areas. That means perfect skiing conditions from the end of November till the beginning of May.

Ochsenkopf

There is chairlift access to the skiing from both sides of the mountain. In Bischofsgrun there are three lifts serving trails with lighting for night skiing, and two with snow-making.
