Afton Alps sits along the rolling hills of the scenic St Croix River Valley. Surrounded by Afton State Park, this sprawling area offers enough runs to keep a skier or snowboarder busy both day and night just exploring the whole layout. Spread out along a wedge-shaped ridge overlooking the river valley, it's massive for a Midwest ski area. With 48 trails, four terrain parks and 18 chairlifts, there's also enough terrain variety to keep a family of skiers happy.

Copper Mountain Resort

Brandnertal

The ski area Rauris is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The very appealing location of the ski area amidst the stunning landscape of the Raurisertal makes for interesting activities also away from the slopes.

One of only two gondola lifts in Sweden (the other is at Åre) takes skiers to the top of Branasberget. The resort has a modern snow making system and some of the longest runs in southern Sweden.

Breckenridge

When gold was discovered along the Blue River in the 1800’s, miners flocked to Breckenridge to seek their fortune. Today skiers and snowboarders head to Breckenridge seeking something almost as valuable: the perfect mountain town.
