Afton Alps sits along the rolling hills of the scenic St Croix River Valley. Surrounded by Afton State Park, this sprawling area offers enough runs to keep a skier or snowboarder busy both day and night just exploring the whole layout. Spread out along a wedge-shaped ridge overlooking the river valley, it's massive for a Midwest ski area. With 48 trails, four terrain parks and 18 chairlifts, there's also enough terrain variety to keep a family of skiers happy.

Mt. Ashland, just north of the California border, is halfway between San Francisco and Portland, eight 8 miles off Interstate 5.

Skiers and riders have been enjoying Mt. La Crosse since 1959. It has one of Wisconsin's longest ski runs in Mileaway, and one of Mid-America's steepest trail in Damnation. The 512-foot vertical is big for the Badger State.

Mount Snow offers a wide variety of terrain and challenge for all abilities. The resort is located near major metropolitan areas such as New York City, Boston, Albany, and Hartford.

Mt. Sunapee is southern New Hampshire's biggest mountain. The ski resort is located in close proximity to Interstates I-89 and I-91.
